I can't wait for the next installment of Evermine (Harper and Emma's Story) to see more of Clayton and Madelyn. I'm not ready to give them up at the end of this book I want more.

I want a Clayton of my own.

A year without a post!!

Dang I haven't been here in over a year. That's really sad, especially when I'm still getting books every week from Paperback swap, the library or the local used book store. I will try to start reposting soon.

I've been reading, but again too busy with work, household things, elderly parents, etc....

But I will try to post a bunch of books per post. So if I'm not on every month maybe I'll review 10 books on one post.

I have been reading, just haven't had any time to post about it.

Rediscovered the Library - LOVE IT!!

So I haven't used the library since I was a kid in school. But one day I decided to open there website alongside my wishlist from the paperbackswap website.

Low and behold I could put books on hold from all over Libraries in the district and they would transfer them to my local library for free. I have read alot in the last 6 months because of this, and cut my wish list in half. I am very happy.

They also cut my swapadvd wishlist in half as well. So for some of you who are going to trading stores, and thrift stores, make sure you check out your library first and their conditions on holds and transfers. It will save you a lot of time and money, as well as shelf space.

Thoughts: This is a wonderful Navy SEALS Series, I couldn't wait to get each and everyone into my hands.

Thoughts: Another Great book by Shannon. Loved both books I've read (No Regrets and No Control), can't wait for more.

Now he must protect her -- to the very last breath....

Thoughts: This was a very good book that I read through in one day, can't wait to look at other books by this author.

A Time To Die by Beverly Barton - 5 Stars

Ten years ago, Black Ops commando Deke Bronson's bullet left up-and-coming journalist Lexie Murrough paralyzed.

It's taken years of painful physical therapy to bring Lexie back from the brink. And Deke is just grateful that she has no memory of his part in the incident that left her injured and him emotionally scarred.

He's tried to put the past behind him, leaving the military and joining the Dundee Agency, but he's never been able to forgive himself. When Lexie, now head of an international charity organization, begins receiving terrifying threats from the son of the dictator killed during that long-ago operation, it's Deke who's assigned to keep her safe from harm.

Maybe it's fate's way of giving him another chance, but falling for Lexie isn't supposed to be part of the deal. And what if she finally discovers the truth?

My thoughts: I loved this book, it was a great romantic suspense. And I find I am collecting more and more romantic suspense books.

The Vampire Diaries Volume 1 and 2 by L.J. Smith

A Love Triangle of Unspeakable Horror...

This is the first time that I have read this author and I really liked this book. Although, I'm more of a fan of the Twilight Saga, this is a good read for all vampire fans.

Volume 2: Elena, believing she was helping her boyfriend, Stefan, is tricked by his brother Damon into exchanging blood with him - not realizing that this will transform her into a vampire too. Now crazed with her own wild craving for blood, it is up to Stephan to save her.

Elena, brought back from the dead, calls on Stefan and Damon to recreate their powerful vampire trio. Together they must face incredible evil and battle against it with their combined strength, cunning and charm - only then can they find peace, and save the friends they have left behind.

Read alot of books - but no time to post reviews

I finally got a job even though its part time it's better then nothing. So I haven't had time to post reviews. I have to go back through the books I've read and kept to post about those though, when I have time.

Right now, I finally got Breaking Dawn from the library so I have to read that. Can't wait for the Twilight Movie. Although I would have loved if Steven Strait got cast as Jacob.

I loved this book. You can't go wrong with a Toni Blake book. After reading this I wanted a Brock of my own. Love the chemistry between the characters.

No Regets by Shannon K Butcher - 5 Stars

I absolutely loved this book. But then again, I love, love, love Alpha Males.

Renowned cryptologist Noelle Blanche refuses to have blood on her hands. So when the military asks for her help in a covert operation, she refuses - until masked gunmen raid her home and threaten her life. It's up to hunky David of the Delta Force to protect her.

Action, suspense and romance a perfect trio. You won't want to miss it. Looking forward to her next one "No Control".

Like any sensible girl, Cassie tries to avoid vampires. I couldn't really get into this book because, the author jumped around alot. She kept introducing different characters and had so much going on at one time, it literally could give you a headache trying to figure it out. A disappointment for me. I will not be reading the rest of this series.
