Marliss Melton Navy SEAL's Series

Helen's distant Navy SEAL husband, Gabe, has been missing for a year and is now presumed dead. While she grieves over his death, she is surprised by her newfound clarity, she doesn't need him to survive, and she and her daughter are fine without him.

Then she learns Gabe has been found but has no memory of their life together, or of her. As Gabe begins to heal from his physical and mental trauma, he shows Helen how much he's changed from the distant husband she once knew.

But what will happen when his memories return? Will he be the man he was before? Will his life be in jeopardy again? In the midst of all this, Helen realizes that she is falling in love with her husband...for the first time.

Hannah Geary wants revenge. A rogue SEAL commander had her Defense Intelligence partner killed, he threw her into a Cuban prison, and he’s still trafficking stolen weapons. But to catch a bad SEAL, she needs a good one. Lt. Luther Lindstrom is used to calling his own shots--in combat and in the bedroom.

He just ended his engagement to his pretty-in-pink, cheating fiancée. The last thing he wants is a relationship, especially with a sexy, strong-willed woman like Hannah.

Yet danger has a way of driving people together. With Hannah and Luther only a step away from one of the FBI’s most wanted criminals, their attraction grows to explosive proportions.

Sara Garret thought the military lawyer she married would be the perfect husband and father. But he has become her worst nightmare. Now one vicious act has driven Sara to take their young son and flee. And she discovers that the only thing more frightening than running away is trusting a stranger.

Chase McCaffrey is a damn good sniper and an even better SEAL, but he's no knight in shining armor. Still, he can't refuse Sara's plea for help. Nor can he control the attraction he starts to feel. What grows between Sara and Chase is electrifying and irresistible. What they must face is terrifying: an explosive combination of sinister calculation and murderous rage.

Penny Price dreads the sound of her ringing phone. She's convinced that the person barraging her with threatening calls is a man who got away with murder -- her father's. Armed with evidence but branded a target, Penny's only salvation is the playboy next door -- Navy SEAL Lieutenant Commander Joe Montgomery.

The sole survivor of the worst disaster in Special Forces history, Joe has been drowning his guilt in a potent mix of alcohol and isolation. Penny refuses to indulge his behavior and a tentative friendship begins, charged with desire.

But as her father's killer sets his sights on Penny, all bets are off. The killer will do anything to protect his identity and Joe fears Penny is... NEXT TO DIE.

DON'T GIVE UP. It's love that keeps teacher Jordan Bliss up at night: the lost love for a Venezuelan orphan named Miguel...and the memory of a Navy SEAL tearing him from her arms. Now in the U.S. and longing for her child, Jordan vows to somehow, some way, bring Miguel home.

DON'T LOOK BACK. To Navy SEAL Solomon McGuire, orders are orders. But the fierce passion in Jordan's voice and the fire in her eyes when he separated her from her son haunt his dreams. Eager to make amends, Solomon promises to pull every string he can to find Miguel. Only time will tell if Jordan can trust him and forgive him.

One thing is certain: His desire for her is relentless and irresistible. And soon their indestructible love will be tested by a terrifying trap of violence...DON'T LET GO.

Read alot of books - but no time to post reviews

I finally got a job even though its part time it's better then nothing. So I haven't had time to post reviews. I have to go back through the books I've read and kept to post about those though, when I have time.

Right now, I finally got Breaking Dawn from the library so I have to read that. Can't wait for the Twilight Movie. Although I would have loved if Steven Strait got cast as Jacob.

A Face In The Crowd: My life as an NFL Wife - Nicole Berti - 5 Stars

Nicole Berti is the wife of San Diego Charger's former Offensive Line Left Tackle Tony Berti. In this look inside her life, she answers questions everyone has about being a wife of an NFL player, and how friends, family, and fans act and react around them.

Great book for the female fans who wonder if it really is as glamorous as it seems, or if it's tougher then it seems.

Nicole goes through such things as the NFL draft, Training, Off-Season, Traveling, and of course Infidelities, Groupies and Cheerleaders.

As a fan of the NFL I found her book answering every question I had about being a wife to one of the men whom seem untouchable to regular girls.
Luckily she has a good marriage and a guy who liked her instead of a model or actress as seems every football player these days is attracted to.

I recommend reading this if you are an NFL fan. Man or woman, it is very interesting, and I could not put it down.

Blood Moon & The Brotherhood - Dawn Thompson

I got these two books because I enjoyed The Ravencliff Bride & The Falcon's Bride.

However, Blood Moon and The Brotherhood were big disappointments.

BLOOD MOON - Jon Hyde-White is changed. Soon he will cease to be an earl's second son and become a ravening monster. Already lust grows, begging him to drink blood and the blood of his fiance Cassandra Thorpe will be sweetest of all.

Is that not why the blasphemous creature Sebastian bursts upon them from the London shadows? But Sebastian's evil task remains incomplete, and neither Jon nor Cassandra is beyond hope. One chance remains in faraway Moldavia, in a secret brotherhood, in an ancient ritual and in the power of love.

THE BROTHERHOOD - Joss Hyde-White leaves London for answers about who and what he is. What he finds is a carriage, and a scene of horror interrupted within. A chestnut-haired beauty lies prone, requiring his assistance. But safety is not easily provided.

On this night that brings to mind vampires and the foulest creatures of myth, it is difficult to tell man or woman from beast. From this moment forward, no one and nothing can be trusted not even his own instincts. Joss is on the road to the truth, leading to the secret of his parents, to the Blood Moon Rite of ancient Persia, to an enigmatic Gypsy and The Brotherhood.

Elijah by Jacquelyn Frank - 3 Stars

They are called the Demons, one of the elusive Nightwalker races living in shadow and struggling for survival against their human enemies. Their proudest warrior is Elijah, a man who bends for nothing and no one...until one woman brings him to his knees...

Some Feelings You Just Can't Fight

He is known as the Warrior Captain--a master of every weapon, a fierce soldier sworn to protect his kind. Powerful, relentless, merciless, Elijah has always won every battle he's ever taken on--until now. Ambushed by necromancers, he is left for dead only to be discovered by the woman who could very well deliver the final blow...Siena, the Lycanthrope Queen.

With three centuries of warring, little more than a decade of uneasy peace has existed between the Lycanthropes and Elijah's people. Now, after a lifetime of suspicion, the warrior in Elijah is consumed with a different battle--winning Siena's heart by giving her pleasure beyond all boundaries. What starts as attraction and arousal soon burns into a passion with consequences that will echo through the ages for both their people. And as would-be enemies become inseparable lovers, another threat approaches, one with the power to destroy them all...

Well, Elijah did a little better then Gideon, but still I found it lacking. The one book I'm really looking forward to is Noah's story. Hopefully she can pull out the best for Noah as she did for Jacob.

Gideon by Jacquelyn Frank - 2 Stars

In Frank 's seductively crafted universe (introduced in last year's Jacob: The Nightwalkers), demons aren't the clawed horrors of myth (unless they're possessed by the book's villainous necromancers); they're handsome, proud, sensuous and decidedly ambivalent about the world of mortals.

Demons have a thousands-year-old rule forbidding them from coupling with humans, who aren't made to survive sex with the charismatic Nightwalkers; male protagonist Gideon, an ancient healer demon (who, naturally, doesn't look a day over 35), has spent eight years in self-imposed exile after attempting to break that law.

Recently returned, guilt-wracked Gideon is finally drawn to the true object of his desire: the even-more-forbidden Magdelegna, young sister of hot-tempered demon king Noah. Though Magdelegna's kin raise hell over the May-December romance (at 250 years old, Magdelegna is barely an adult), the pair's breathtaking sex scenes raise more.

I didn't like this one that much. Jacob was a five and this one dropped my opinion of the offer, hopefully Elijah will bring it back up.

Forbidden by Suzanne Brockmann - 4 Stars

He was gorgeous as sin, but definitely off-limits....

He'd saved her from a drenching storm, had gently placed her in a steaming tub,and looked great in firelight, but was that reason enough for Kayla Grey to kiss a handsome cowboy with reckless hunger?

Cal Bartlett couldn't believe he'd nearly made love to the woman who'd betrayed his brother's memory, but when she insisted that Liam might be alive, shame warred with desire. Would loving her mean losing him again?

C.J.'s Fate by Kay Hooper - 4 Stars

Librarian C. J. Adams thinks marriage is a fine tradition—for somebody else. The love of her life is history, and in her experience, few men compare with the daring heroes who shaped civilization. Well-traveled, well-educated, and content to stay single, C.J. is convinced she isn’t missing anything. But her close friends disagree.

When they resolve to find her soul mate during a trip to Aspen, C.J. stays a step ahead of them by enlisting a gorgeous stranger to pose as her lover. But the man proves to be far more charismatic—and convincing—than she expected, and C.J. soon discovers a side of herself she didn’t know existed. She never imagined that the Rockies had more in store for her than a skiing trip with friends, but whether she likes it or not, C.J.’s fate is about to be sealed.

Long time....I'm Back

It's been a long time since I've posted. I've been busy with trying to find acting jobs, trying to find a regular job, and family things.

Now that my mom had her surgery and is recovering I will start looking for a job. I have been reading a lot lately, just haven't had time to post. So I will do my best to make time.

I'd say from the last time I posted until I've read about 20-25 books.
