Bloodfever by Karen Marie Moning 5 STARS

I loved Karen Marie Moning's Highlander series, and decided to start her Fever Series. She's done it again. This series is amazing and keeps you wanting more. I can't wait for the third book FaeFever.

In Bloodfever, MacKayla Lane "Mac" has traded in her pastel colored clothing and sweet southern girl ways, to kick some Fae butt. She dyed her blonde hair black and traded it for dark colored clothes to hide the blood of the fae, she kills.

She's getting closer to the coveted "Sinsar Dubh", and that increases the dangerous people around her. In this book we meet two college students, one of whom knew her sister. Can he be trusted?

We get to know more of the hot Jericho Barrons, he is determined to protect her. But have any of you noticed he's not around during the daytime. I'm thinking he might be a vampire. Or that thing that lives under the garage. Since he has told Mac he's close by if she needs him. Also towards the end of the book when he's holding her, he buries his face in her neck and says, "I didn't want to do this." So that makes my vampire flag go up. I like them together. I think they're cute and the kiss that they shared in this book HOOOTTTT!!

Can't wait for FaeFever, and more Jericho (Or whoever he is) and Mac love.

Location: Back to the library, but as soon as PB becomes available...it's going right next to DarkFever.

After the Night by Linda Howard 4 1/2 Stars

Picked this book up at the Library and loved it.

Faith Devlin is a poor, outcast child in Prescott, Louisiana, whom absolutely adores Gray Rouillard, the town's golden boy from afar. But one fateful night he called her white trash when his rich, respected father disappeared, with her slutty mother.

Years later Faith wants to hate Gray Rouillard but she can't stop desiring him, any more than she could hide the truth about the past she had waited so long to unravel.

With Gray following her around waiting for her to show a sign she's just like her slut mother, she sets out to find the truth. That his father was murdered.

Throughout the book he sets out to hate her but starts to fall for her and help find out what truly happened that hot southern night when their lives were turned upside down.

A wonderful love story with mystery behind it. I'll definately be looking for more of Linda Howard books like this one.

Almost Forever by Linda Howard 2 1/2 Stars

Picked this up at the library because it sounded interesting. In the end, it was an okay read.

It's about Claire Westerbrook a secretary for a big company who falls in love with a guy who just moved to the city. Little does she know he was studying her company for a takeover.

When she finds out, she doesn't talk to him and when they do he says I'm sorry and they get together again. Blah, Blah, Blah...old story...old plot

Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer

Ah the third book....YAY!!
I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book to find out who Bella chooses. But at times I found her to enjoy being the center of attention between Jacob and Edward. She was leading Jacob on a little and I did not like that at all.

I do love however, how the werewolves and vampires banded together to protect Bella and the residents of Forks from the murderous vamps on the lose.

I thought all my questions would have been answered in this book, but they have not. I want more...and am so sad that I have to wait through Edwards side of things in his book "Breaking Dawn".

I hope the following book "Midnight Sun" is Jacob's story. I really hope he meets a girl that he can fall in love with because Bella is truly and completely Edwards girl. I want Edward to turn Bella and love her. I doubt there will be any love scenes though since it is Young adult. But I think that should be the next step.

Oh, and I cannot wait for the Movie. I just wish it would have been made a little earlier so Henry Cavill could have played Edward.

New Moon by Stephenie Meyer 5 Stars

So after reading Twilight I rushed right out so I can continue with my Bella & Edward Fix.

After Bella's attack in the last book Edward and his family keep a close watch on her. They even throw her a birthday party as if she is one of the family. Unforunately an incident at the birthday party forces "The Cullens" to leave for Bella's protection as well as their own.

Bella falls into despair when they leave and the only thing that helps her is her friendship with Jacob Black. A boy from the La Push reservation. Bella first goes to Jacob so he can fix up to motorcycles she just picked up. She finds that when she does dangerous things Edward's voice comes into her head. So she does alot of stupid things to hear him once again.

But she doesn't realize that the more time she spends with Jacob the more he is falling in love with her. And that Jacob and his friends at LaPush have a secret.

The boys at LaPush are werewolves and their number one enemies are vampires. So what is Bella to do when the Cullens come back....stay tuned for Eclipse.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer 5 Stars

I found out about this author on multiple message boards and just had to read this series.

Unfortunately out of the three closest libraries none of her books were available. They were either checked out, or not available. Anyways my friend gave me a B&N giftcard for my birthday and I knew just what to get, "TWILIGHT".

In the first book we are introduced to Isabela "Bella" Swan and Edward Cullen. I loved the interaction between these two. How Edward tried to stay away to protect his family secret and her, but couldn't.

Edward is very sweet and so protective of her that he disappears for a while, but can't stay away for too long.

I found that I couldn't put this book down, and only did when I kept shutting my eyes around 11:30 at night. I finished it in two days. I just knew I couldn't wait for the following two books to come out in PB, so I went and bought them in HB.

Not really in the mood for reading...

My little bunny rabbit died this past Tuesday, and my birthday is in two days. So I'm not really in any celebratory mood, and not even in a reading mood.

I have read some books that were ehhh... Those books were:
